Hello Friend,
It's that time of year when many things come together at once and schedules get tight. My husband of 36 years is a pastor and his favorite things are Faith, Family & Farming. He loves to be in church services and would go every night if he could. Our life is centered around God and serving Him.
We attended the National Sword of the Lord Conference last week in Winston Salem, North Carolina and are traveling this week to a Jubilee in Brazil, Indiana.
We have three grown children and nine grandchildren that range in age from almost 2 to 11 years old. When we are home, we spend time with our grandchildren daily and have been lovingly named Nina and Baugh Baugh.
Our home sets on a small piece of fertile soil where we have chickens, cows, gardens with vegetables, pumpkins, wildflowers and apple trees. Salsa is the main crop this year. We have 55 tomato plants along with my kitchen garden with Roma and yellow tomatoes, onions, peppers, cilantro & strawberries.
We live a simple life, work hard and stay busy. God has been good to us and we love Him so!

Our North Carolina Adventure — Places We Visited & Highly Recommend!
While we were in North Carolina for the Sword of the Lord Conference, we took some time to explore the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. God's creation is breathtaking out there and we highly recommend these wonderful stops if you ever find yourself in that part of the country:
- Grandfather Mountain — A stunning natural landmark with incredible views, wildlife, and the famous Mile High Swinging Bridge. Absolutely breathtaking!
- Moses Cone Manor — A beautiful historic estate on the Blue Ridge Parkway surrounded by peaceful trails and gorgeous scenery.
- Blowing Rock — A charming mountain town with wonderful shops, restaurants, and the famous rock formation that gives the town its name.
- Visit Mayberry — Mount Airy, NC — The real-life hometown of Andy Griffith! A delightful step back in time full of nostalgia, warmth, and small-town charm.
- Linn Cove Viaduct — Blue Ridge Parkway — One of the most remarkable feats of engineering in America, winding around Grandfather Mountain with jaw-dropping views.
