I’ve been there. Over the years, I’ve discovered something surprising. The gifts people remember the longest are rarely the most expensive. They’re the gifts that become part of everyday life. They’re the gifts that encourage, strengthen, and remind someone they are loved. In a world overflowing with “stuff,” I believe the best gifts are useful, beautiful, and purposeful.

When I’m looking for an affordable gift, usefulness is always my first consideration. I love giving gifts that people naturally reach for every day — a beautiful notebook for Bible study or daily notes, a quality set of scripture ink pens, highlighters and sticky notes for Bible study, a supply of greeting cards and stamps to encourage others throughout the year, or a journal that helps organize prayer time and spiritual growth. These aren’t flashy gifts. They’re faithful gifts. Every time they’re used, the recipient remembers the person who gave them.
Why I Believe Scripture Makes Every Gift More Meaningful
One thing that has always been important to me is placing God’s Word in front of people every single day. Life moves quickly. We rush out the door. We become overwhelmed with work, responsibilities, family obligations, and distractions. Sometimes we unintentionally leave the Lord behind as we hurry through our day. When Scripture is placed on something we use regularly — a journal, notebook, Bible cover, card, or even a pen — it gently reminds us to stop. It reminds us whose we are. It encourages us to look to our Heavenly Father. Those daily reminders are priceless.
The Greatest Compliment I’ve Ever Received
One of the greatest blessings of designing Christian products isn’t selling them. It’s unexpectedly meeting people who are already using them. Many times I’ve heard people tell me how my journals have helped organize their time with the Lord, strengthened their faith, given them hope during difficult seasons, and encouraged them to develop a deeper walk with Christ. Nothing compares to hearing that something you designed has helped someone spend more time with the Lord.
A Customer’s Words That Touched My Heart

Final Thoughts
My hope and prayer has never simply been to create beautiful Christian gifts. My prayer is much bigger than that. My hope and prayer to God is that His people will get off the milk of the Word and get on the meat of the Word so they may grow thereby. And for those who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour, my prayer is that they will receive Him and be gloriously saved by His amazing grace. If one simple, useful gift can encourage someone to open God’s Word, spend time in prayer, or draw closer to Christ, then it is worth far more than anything money alone could ever buy.
