We are so excited to share that Kinsman & Company was recently invited to attend the Worship in the Wilderness Girls Conference at Rushville Baptist Temple, 1335 N. Spencer Street, Rushville, Indiana — and what a blessing it was!

About the Conference

This special two-day event, held April 10–11, 2026, was designed to encourage and equip teen girls in their walk with the Lord. The theme — Worship in the Wilderness — spoke directly to the hearts of young women navigating the challenges of life:

• Keeping joy through trials
• Worshipping when life lets you down
• Being happy in the Christian life whatever comes your way ❤️

The conference was filled with games, split sessions, a movie, prizes, lessons, and of course — food! It was a weekend full of laughter, learning, and the love of God.

What Does It Mean to Worship in the Wilderness?

The wilderness is a theme woven throughout all of Scripture. God's people have always faced seasons of trial, loneliness, and uncertainty — and yet God has always been faithful in those very places. Here are some King James Bible verses that remind us we are never alone in the wilderness:

"Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." — Isaiah 43:19 (KJV)

"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul." — Psalm 23:1–3 (KJV)

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." — Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)

We are so grateful to Rushville Baptist Temple and the wonderful Mrs. Megan Redd (@Farmhouse.Bakerrs) for hosting this year's conference, along with Christina Graham (@christinagraham26) from Liberty Baptist Indianapolis. Both ladies poured their hearts into making this event a blessing for every girl who attended. We are looking forward to what God is going to do through the seeds planted that weekend!

Two Churches Laboring Together

This conference was a beautiful picture of two churches — Rushville Baptist Temple and Liberty Baptist Indianapolis — coming together with one heart to bless teen girls and point them to Jesus. That is what the body of Christ is all about.

Kinsman & Company is based out of Liberty Baptist Church Muncie, and we were honored to be invited to be a part of this wonderful event.
