This week, my husband Pastor Andy Phipps and I had the joy of attending the first two nights of the 29th Annual Camp Meeting at Midway Baptist Church in Elyria, Ohio — alongside our dear friends Pastor Rick Keesee and his father, Bro. Chuck Keesee, Pastor Emeritus, of this wonderful church family. If you have never attended a camp meeting, I want to tell you — there is nothing quite like it. The preaching is bold, the singing is sweet, and the presence of the Lord is real.
The theme of this year's meeting says it all: The Book, The Blood, & The Blessed Hope. Three pillars of the faith. Three reasons we gather. Three truths that never change.
Kinsman & Company Was There
We were honored to set up our Kinsman & Company display at this year's camp meeting, sharing our King James scripture gifts with the women and families who attended. It is always such a joy to place God's Word — on a journal, a Bible cover, a tumbler, a pen — into the hands of someone who loves it as much as we do. Events like this are exactly why we do what we do.

We Found the First Mention Bible
One of the unexpected treasures of this camp meeting was discovering the First Mention Bible, written by Kevin Mann. We picked up a copy at the meeting and were immediately captivated. The First Mention Bible traces the first time key words and concepts appear in Scripture — a powerful study tool for anyone who loves digging deep into the King James Bible. We are so glad we found it, and we highly recommend it to anyone serious about Bible study.

The Preaching We Heard
Over the first two nights, we were blessed to sit under some powerful, old-fashioned, King James Bible preaching. Each man brought a word from the Lord that stirred our hearts and strengthened our faith.

A Singer Who Blessed Our Hearts
One of the unexpected highlights of the meeting was hearing Michael Roberts — a gifted singer whose voice and heart for worship truly moved us. We were so glad to meet him. You can learn more about his ministry at roapm.org. If you ever have the opportunity to hear him sing, do not miss it.

Why We Go
As a pastor's wife and the founder of Kinsman & Company, gatherings like this are the heartbeat of everything we do. When the Book is preached, the Blood is honored, and the Blessed Hope is proclaimed, hearts are moved and lives are changed.
